Yes, we don't need to track our plugin users. We want our plugins to be used by users who don't want to be constantly tracked by (a) developer(s).

In general, even developers like us who don't incorporate a tracking system into their plugins, developers use (a) source code search site(s) to grab the number of users of their plugins to some extent.

According to the information on such sites, this plugin seems to have about 100 to 500 users.
